Jeff Zazueta, a Southern California Native, has been the Frontman and writer for bands such as, “Hazner”, “Stigma”, and his present band, “As you were”. Through his career, his writing landed him music placements in movies such as, “Without a paddle”, and “Epic Movie”. He is endorsed by Electro Voice and Pig Hog Cables. He has performed with the following major artists: Alien Ant Farm, Sublime, Everlast, Authority Zero, Static Lullaby, Pennywise, A Day To Remember, The Dirty Heads, New American Shame, Slaughter, Warrant, Doken, Poison, Vince Neil, Great White, Steel Panther, Jackyl, Skid Row, Sabastian Bach, Yngwie Malmsteen, Ratt, Berlin, Janie Lane, The Kinks, The Heartbreakers, Otep, Smile Empty Soul, Unwritten Law, Stephen Pearcy, Kevin Fowler, Lindsey Ell, Brooke Eden, The Lacs, The Moonshine Bandits, Jordan Rager, Cale Dodds, and Confederate Railroad… He wrote a song about the death of his grandmother in the band Stigma, which was entitled “REMEMBER” and recorded it with the DJ from Incubus. He also wrote and Recorded two songs for David Silveria formerly of Korn. (Unreleased) In addition to movie credits, he has songs that were featured in several tv shows from VH1 Behind The Music Pantera, MTV’s Best Summer Ever, Nickelodeon, NFL network and several others. He is an award-winning vocalist and has won several top 3 awards in vocal and karaoke competitions. Out of hundreds of participants, he won 1st place at the Sam Ash California Band Competitions 2 years in a row with 2 different bands. He won the KCAL 96.7 “Rock Never Stops” best band award. “California Country Folk” was nominated for the best music video in the CCA awards.
Jeff is very supportive of charity events and has contributed to raising thousands of dollars for charitable causes from Wounded Warrior, his local community for people with cancer, giving money to help with funeral costs for families who’ve lost their children, and he started “Christmas in July” 16 years ago. In that time he has raised 10’s of thousands of dollars and toys for sick children. He is currently working on developing a project to help raise money for the special needs prom and for special needs children to be able to go on field trips.
Cory Tarollo grew up in Newburgh NY and Moved to California to pursue music. He and Jeff met in the late 90’s and were in the band Trak 13 together and that’s where their musical journey began. He is also in the band 8stops7 who was formed in 1996 and signed with Warner Bros. Records/Reprise Records. Two of the songs from their second album In Moderation, “Satisfied”, and “My Would-be Savior”, were featured on the soundtrack of the Sony PlayStation game Street Sk8er 2. “Satisfied” was also featured in the Sony PlayStation 2 game Gran Turismo 3 and on its soundtrack. The video for “Satisfied” was featured on the MTV show 120 Minutes. “Question Everything” was featured on the Friends Again Soundtrack with other artists featured on the Friends NBC sitcom. Apple placed the music video for Question Everything on the Mac OS 9.1 CD, and later included a high-quality mp3 copy of the song to demo the new digital speakers included with the PowerMac G4 Cube. Cory has also played in bands recently with members from Korn, Filter, Fuel, Flyleaf, Device, Anyone, and Live. He has performed/co-wrote 3 songs on the Underworld 4 soundtrack. The song, “Heavy Prey” was the featured song and it came with the special blu-ray set with the video on the DVD. He is endorsed by Warrior Bass Guitars, DR Strings, Intex Cables and Accugrove Speakers.
Dean Parra has been playing guitar since age 6. He first learned to play by ear and thereafter began taking classes and private instruction at Cypress Community College under Dr. Scott Zeidel. He began collaborating with Power 106 Mix Master, DJ Virman, to hit the radio waves with numerous guitar remixes of popular music. He was interviewed as a featured guest with Prime Time radio hosts, The Good Fellas, under the alias, “Neighbor Dean”.
Aside from Country, Dean plays all styles of music ranging from Rock, Soul, Blues, R&B, Pop, Rap, Funk, Folk, Country, Classical, Spanish, Flamenco, Instrumental Style, and Smooth Jazz. He has backed a variety of artists, most notably FarEast Movement, and produced the album, “Blue Skies” for YouTube Artist, Joseph Vincent. In addition to guitar performance, Dean is also passionate about music production and recording/engineering.
